Review of Ontology Based Storytelling Devices

چکیده
A great deal of research concerning mechanisms to interpret, manipulate and generate stories in different media has been carried out. The basic concepts related to ontologies and their components are introduced. We review then the role of ontologies in storytelling including the distinction between fabula, suzjet and narrative. Several recent innovative initiatives that provide interesting devices for storytelling through the implementations of ontologies are reviewed.
